Hotel Review - Rajasthali Resort and Spa Jaipur

Located amidst the majestic Aravalli Hills, Jaipur has beautifully preserved its rich royal history which is evident in its numerous palaces, temples and monuments. It is famously known as the ‘Pink City’ - a name which comes from the hue of its buildings. I finally visited this picturesque city last month and stayed in a very unique heritage style property known as the Rajasthali Resort and Spa which is located in the outskirts of the city.

The magnificent history-clad Aravalli hills form the backdrop of this sprawling resort which is spread across 25 acres. It is surrounded by lush green hills and you can constantly hear and if you're lucky enough, even spot peacocks around.

After checking in, we were taken to our room in a buggy which gave us a mini tour of the massive property -

The rooms consist of individual units with a simple white exterior and lots of plants and greenery.

However, the moment you enter, you are transported to a whole new world. I have never seen such a unique design before. The interiors take you into a spacious and luxurious tent complete with a chandelier, royal era furniture with a study table, a four poster king size bed and modern hotel amenities such as a light up closet and a potent portable ac that keeps the Rajasthan heat at bay.

It also has a luxurious washroom complete with a shower and a private jacuzzi so that you can relax in style.

And right behind the tent is a small hill that houses numerous peacocks who can be heard early in the morning, giving you a feel of living in the lap of nature

Apart from the luxury tents, the resort also has a building which houses their restaurant and additional palace rooms.

And it overlooks the beautiful poolside which is flanked by hills along with an open air restaurant by the pool.

It also has a massive lawn and a banquet hall which make it a beautiful venue for destination weddings and functions.

The resort is beautifully done up and has a lot of breathtaking views such as this one.

The palace rooms have a simple and modern look.

While the royal tent suites have large luxurious living rooms with rich decor and velvet upholstery

These suites have two identical bedrooms on either side of the living room.

I had a memorable stay here and feel its ideal for everyone - weddings, families, couples, corporate travelers or leisure tourists.
